What is Give4Marion?
Every September, Marion County non-profits participate in a 33-hour Giving Day called Give4Marion, hosted by the Ocala/Marion County Community Foundation.
Give4marion is an opportunity to support your favorite non-profits and unite our community around causes that we truly believe in and support. Marion Senior Services is excited to have the opportunity to participate for the 4th year in a row!
How can I get involved with Give4Marion?
During the 2023 Give4Marion Campaign, our agency raised over $17,000. Visit our giving page to learn more.
Marion Senior Services’ biggest challenge is adequate funding to serve all those in our community who are in need. We have extensive waitlists for all of our programs, and with additional funding and resources, we hope to decrease those waitlists and expand our scope of services.
Fundraisers like Give4Marin make a huge impact on our organization’s ability to broaden our scope of service and reach more seniors in need.
Share and share alike. Online days of giving are successful because of our own networks. Help us grow our network by sending this link to your network and ask your friends to do the same.
Be socially (media) active. Use your social media networks: post on Facebook, tweet about Give4Marion, and share your love for your particular passion. Ask others to do the same.
Become a fundraising champion. Everyone loves a champion, including us! We really need fundraising champions to help drive people to our Give4Marion profile on September 19-20. Contact us for more information on how to become a fundraising champion!
